Hurley kind of wished he was writing a letter to Hoshi. But instead, no, he'd gone on a big mission to go get friggin' dynamite from a scary ship in the jungle along with all the other guys.

Of course, he decided to stay outside the ship with the kinda-cranky Arnzt dude. Wait, Arzt. That was it. It was hard to say.

Hurley had grabbed a notepad out of the plane wreckage, and got a pen from the Boone guy (he had like six of them for some weird reason), and had sat down that night to try and write a letter. It was a little tricky with just the campfire light, but he did it just the same.
